- XIth : Lord Konabès or Kanabès was witnesses a marriage.
- 1133 : Michaël Kanakès or Kanabès was witnesses a trial.
- XIIth : Kanabis or Kanabès, a monk, gives parchement to the monastery of Patmos.
- 1204 : Nikolaos Kanabos elected Emperor. He is a relative of the Angelos dynasty
- 1361 : Nikephoros Kanabès. His father-in-law, Demetrios Kassandrenos, accompanied the Emperor John Kantakuzenos by ship when he visited the city of Mistra.
- XIVth : Ionnis Kanabès orders a famous icon and becomes monk under the name of Hillarion. He lived in Blachernae Quarter of Constantinople.
- 1367 : The Kanaboi's were ktetors for the church St Demetrios of Kanabos, near the Golden Gate and the Emperor’s Palace, this church still exists actually.
- 1453 : Kanabos family leaved Constantinople to go to Greece…
- 1454 : Laskaris Kanabès (married to one Kantakouzénos - Imperial family) is elected Prôtégoros (Lord Mayor) of Constantinople by Mehmed II. His wife was a relative of Emperor Constantin XI from Palaiologos dynasty.
- 1460 : A named Laskaris Kanabos (an other man) wrote and released his travel in Scandinavia and in Baltic States.
