(Today, it's partially a hotel)
Dungeon
A floor is missing since 1869 (? cf books). Indeed, the castle was partially destroyed during the war between clan Kanabos and clan Stiroboulos (? cf books). The Kanabos destroyed totally the castle of their enemies.

This building, near the dungeon, was the “Kanavos University” in 18th century.

Ioannes Nikolaos Kanabos sold the castle in 1950’ to finance his political campaigns as minister and governor of Macedonia.
The mayor of Ano Hora
He welcomed us friendly and showed us several books on the history of our family, preserved to Ano Hora. If Kanabos wants to return to Ano Hora to buy or build a house, he will be free of tax, word of the mayor :)
